Pinspiration: I Love Color

When I was 19 my mom took me to Express at Pecanland Mall. She told me that she would buy me anything in the store…as long as it wasn’t black*. Those days, my uniform was pretty much black leggings, black sweater, and black Doc Martens. These days, my uniform is pretty much black yoga pants, black sweater, and sneakers, but I throw a funky, at least somewhat colorful shirt in the mix every now and then.

While I still am not too keen on color in my wardrobe, I love it in my life. Enjoy these cool colorful pins!

*If you’re wondering what I chose at Express, which I know all of you are, I went with a charcoal gray cardigan. Heh heh. It wasn’t what my mom had in mind when she tried to manipulate my wardrobe by enticing me with shopping, but it wasn’t black.

I wonder how Nathaniel is going to torture me with style. You think he’ll insist on western wear? Or growing a mullet? Or some kind of horrific Little House on the Prairie getup? Or maybe only wearing Founding Fathers garb complete with powdered wig? Oh, the possibilities.
