Destination Ongoing: A Journey Through Art and Place

Destination Ongoing has already been shared in my newsletter (sign up here) and on Instagram, but I wanted to give my latest painting collection a permanent home in an official blog post.

Four of the ten original paintings are still available — In the Canyon No. 1, Connected, Sightseeing No. 2, and Window Seat. Select pieces are also offered as custom fine art prints. I’ve included the entire collection below so you can experience it as it was created. To purchase or inquire about availability, click on the individual images or feel free to contact me directly.

About Destination Ongoing

I want my art to feel the way I do when I’m on vacation.

Spacious. Curious. Relaxed and grateful. Inspired.

Travel and place are constant threads in my work, even as my art evolves. They’ve always provided me with inspiration, a sense of certainty, and a way to reconnect with myself when I feel lost or stuck.

Destination Ongoing feels like a reflection of where I’ve been and where I’m headed, both in art and in life. The moods and places that inspire me continue to evolve, and this collection expresses that journey.

My art is becoming quieter, yet stronger at the same time. The buzzing electric cityscapes that once fueled my creativity have been replaced by the quiet beauty of ancient towns. Dunes, cliffs, and bluffs blend together to form new, fluid landscapes. Features of rocks, canyons, and aerial views are smoothed out into forms that feel both familiar and new.

I invite you to find your own sense of journey in these paintings — whether internal or external.

If you’re drawn to the energy of this collection, I’d love to create something uniquely yours inspired by its themes. If you have any questions or would like to commission a painting inspired by Destination Ongoing for your home or interior design project, I’d love to hear from you.
