Strolling in Seattle: Olympic Sculpture Park and Myrtle Edwards Park

It’s summer. It’s sunny. It’s Seattle. It’s time for a stroll. Where do you go?

I love going (and taking visitors) to the Olympic Sculpture Park. Why? Because some of the sculptures are really cool, it shows off how beautiful Seattle is, and you can take a walk down to Myrtle Edwards Park and relax by Elliott Bay.

For at least the past couple of summers, the Seattle Art Museum has given us some fun outdoor events at the park, like yoga, a farmers market, outdoor drawing, food trucks, concerts, and all-ages hands on art activities. The program runs through September 15th, so you’ve still got time to experience Summer at SAM.
