One of the things that I want to do a better job of is giving you a bit of a bigger picture when I share my art with you.
For instance, photography is a huge part of my creative process. It’s how I see and discover details. I actually used to work professionally as a photographer, freelancing for publications like Luxe Magazine and Seattle Refined.
While some of the photos I’m including with Curve weren’t direct inspirations for the painting, I think these moments I captured are great for showing you how I see and what I notice that may make their way into future work.
