My First Greeting Card: Celebrate Every Day

Earlier this year, the lovely Sarah Bryden-Brown of Blogstar invited me to design a greeting card to be sold exclusively on Jack Cards. Have you guys heard about them? It’s a pretty cool service.

Here’s how it works. First, sign up for free. Then import or add your contacts that you’d like to receive special occasion reminders about, and complete their birthday/anniversary/etc. information. Or even better, send them a link to their contact information page and have them fill it out!

You can schedule events and purchase cards in advance through your planner and Jack Cards will send them to you, including a pre-addressed and stamped envelope, so all you have to do is sign the card and pop it into the mail. How cool is that? If you have an upcoming event that you haven’t purchased a card for, you’ll get a reminder email, and if you’re running late they’ll even handwrite your message and mail the card for you. Priceless.

Anyway, back to the card should be buying today. :) My card.

I wanted to create a multipurpose design – a card that could be given on birthdays or any time you think someone might need it. My message is, “Celebrate every day.” It’s awesome to treat yourself on special occasions, but sometimes we need a reminder of how lucky we are to be here each day and to be grateful for the wonderful things that have. Even ordinary days are worth celebrating in some way.

I really hope that you like the design. If you do, sign up for Jack Cards and order it today! xo
