Feel Sunshine is a beautiful and bright abstract painting inspired by a solo trip to Los Angeles in February 2023. I visited some of my favorite spots — Malibu and Topanga — and was able to re-experience some memories and the energy of the years that I lived in California. Feel Sunshine is about allowing yourself the space and time to experience beauty. The edges of the painting share the story of the art through color and drips from the process of creating it.
