Girl Crush Art Exhibit
On Friday night I got to see a collage that I made on display in a gallery. That’s something that was on my Mighty Life List, and it was pretty cool to see it happen. Below are a few photos of our collages and a list of participating Girl Crushers.

Present & Correct
Soon I’ll be my own boss and that means I get to choose what office supplies get ordered. That means pretty colors, good design, and overall level of awesomeness are all important criteria for purchasing. I’m pretty sure I want as much as possible to come from Present & Correct.
You can also order their cool stuff from Etsy. They have a sweet blog too!
Jeremy & Kathleen + Braid Creative & Consulting
There are so many awesome blogs out there. I really wish I had time to read all of them every single day. Here are two that I’m going to be making time for and adding to my list of daily reads: Jeremy & Kathleen and Kathleen’s business blog for Braid Creative & Consulting.
I’ve been following Kathleen on Twitter for a while and I’ve visited Jeremy & Kathleen in the past, but this post is what motivated me to swear I’ll go back and read some of the archives (especially the Freelance Matters series!) and keep up with their adventures in the future.
My Blogger Friends
One part of the vision board that I shared with you earlier this year was dedicated to making new friends, in particular creative women that live in the same city as I do. I’ve made more friends through blogging than from any other thing in my adult life. Many of them aren’t in Seattle, but that’s okay. I communicate with so many awesome people every day. We tweet, email, Facebook, Skype, and talk on the phone. We have SO MANY THINGS in common and get along so well.
When we’re lucky, we get to hang out in person. And sometimes, when we’re REALLY lucky, Uncle Beefy (a.k.a., The Future Next Food Network Star) bakes cupcakes for us.
Look at the fun cupcake toppers that Brittni made!
I don’t have any photographs of the actual attendees, but I can assure you that Bradford, Megan, Kim, Brittni, and I had an awesome time at Wheelhouse Coffee. I can’t wait to see you guys again soon! xo
K.I.D. Collective
Casey Keasler is a Portland-based interior designer and the editor of K.I.D. Collective, a lovely blog that I recently discovered. Here are some lovely photos from the blog and Casey’s portfolio. Click the images to see more!
Beautiful. xoxo
