Gossip Girl ended on Monday. Forever. No more Chuck and Blair. No more, “Spotted…”. No more living breathing glossy magazine on TV.
That’s really what it’s like. If you had a magic bottle and a genie popped out and you wished for Nylon to come to life, you’d be transported into Gossip Girl. The show is full of fashion, amazing set design, sharp, witty writing, and fantastic music, artists, and designers. There really hasn’t been anything like it.
Besides Blair and Chuck in general, I think I’ll miss the mix of fashion and music the most. It’s always been a fun way to discover new trends. I’d like to wish this show farewell by showcasing some of the creative clothes the characters sported, particularly Blair and Serena. Also, I made a Spotify playlist for you featuring music from all seasons of the show.
