Yesterday morning we attempted to take Nathaniel to Children’s Storytime at Elliott Bay Book Company. We just missed the stories, but we did have time to browse one of my favorite bookstores and read Nathaniel a selection or two in the kids’ section.
While we were there, I picked up a book that I’ve been wanting to get for myself Nathaniel for a while – Beautiful Oops! by Barney Saltzberg. It’s a fantastic creative book that sends the message that it’s not only okay to make mistakes, but it actually can be pretty cool when you do.
