When we got back from Portland, Mr. Adorable (the one on the left, who is having a birthday tomorrow, by the way) began a search for cool stuff in Seattle that we didn’t know about yet. Schmancy was on his list.
First, let’s talk about Schmancy‘s owner Kristen Rask. She started Schmancy in 2004. She is super friendly and has excellent taste, evident by her store inventory. Obviously, she’s also very informative, given the things I learned about just by stepping foot in her shop (see School House Craft and Urban Craft Uprising). I am so excited to attend both of these events!
