If you know me, you know I’m sappy.
I love romantic comedies, no matter how ridiculous they are. I love sweet stories, even if they’re in the format of a television commercial. I will sometimes watch a movie multiple times and cry every time I see it even if I know the line that’s coming up next. I’ve seen Beaches three times. Every time I’ve watched it, it’s been late at night and I couldn’t sleep afterwards because of the sobbing. My sobbing. SAPPY.
Last week my equally sappy husband showed me the trailer for The Odd Life of Timothy Green. We both had tears in our eyes after watching it. See? I told you. We’re SAPPY.

Disney is planning to release this film in August 2012. Are you guys sappy enough for it?
I’m loving all things Chevron these days. I would especially LOVE to have that green and white dresser.
Nathaniel and I have been getting some cool stuff lately. Check out our haul.
1. UPPERCASE Magazine – I didn’t get this issue of UPPERCASE last week, but it is super cool and I wanted to include it because UPPERCASE is the publisher for…
2 & 7. Lisa Congdon’s A Collection a Day – I’ve been thinking about getting A Collection a Day for a while, and guess what? I won it in a blog tour giveaway from super cool Poppytalk. Looking through it is inspiring and so much fun.
3. A Scrapbook of Nathaniel’s First Year – I’ve only made one scrapbook ever. My mom loves to make scrapbooks, and she’s very good at it. When they came to visit and celebrate Nathaniel’s birthday, she brought Drew and me an awesome scrapbook of Nathaniel’s first year. So cool.
4. Handmade Birthday Card – Our friend Phil Scroggs of Phillustrations, Etsy, and Zazzle fame created this great card and mailed it to Nathaniel for his first birthday.
5. Customized Superhero Doll by Sophie and Lili – I’ve already raved about this doll in a previous You’re My Obsession column, but I had to include it here because the actual doll is so awesome.
6. Kirtsy Takes a Bow – I’ve also raved about Kirtsy in a previous column, so I’ll keep it short. This book is cool. I want to spend more time looking at it. Note: I’ve curated a slideshow for Kirtsy and I’ll let you guys know when it’s up. Can’t wait to see what it looks like on their site!
I click on lots of links and usually don’t remember how I got to where I ended up. True story: Once I was talking to my mom on the phone and looking up some information for her online about some kind of medication. The next thing you know I’m staring at a gorgeous modern dining table. I have no idea how a super cool modern dining table is six degrees from a cardiovascular prescription medication. My mom told me to put down my interwebs and go outside and play.
The point of this story is that sometimes all of my clicking takes me to something beautiful. Like these photos by Olivia Rae James of Everyday Musings. Gorgeous.
Oh yeah, now I remember. I saw this photo of delicious looking Nutella Banana Ice Cream on Kirtsy. OMG YUM.
I am seriously loving doing the Art I ♥ series of interviews that I just started. Tomorrow I’ll be featuring my first Blogspiration interview and I’m so excited to share it with you. It’s so much fun to do these, and I feel like my questions are improving each time I send out a new set.
I don’t want to give away my entire upcoming schedule, but I have some really interesting and talented people on deck. I will give you a sneak peek though: this artist and this blogger will be featured in upcoming posts. They’re doing some cool stuff, right?
