Destination Ongoing has already been shared in my newsletter (sign up here) and on Instagram, but I wanted to share my latest painting collection in an official blog post as well.
As of today three of the ten paintings have already found their homes, but I’m including all of them below so you can view the collection in its entirety. To purchase, get more information about, or learn if a particular painting has been sold just click on the individual images.
DESTINATION ONGOING
I want my art to feel the way that I feel when I’m on vacation.
Spacious. Curious. Relaxed and grateful. Inspired.
The thread of travel and place is one that I can assuredly follow, even as my art changes. It is a constant — something that I can feel certain of. It’s always provided me with inspiration when I have felt lost or stuck. It reminds me of who I am and what I value.
Destination Ongoing feels like a nod to where I’ve been and where I’m going, in art and in life. How I continue to be touched by mood and place in a different way and how I’m led to express it.
My art is becoming more quiet and strong at the same time. The buzzing electric city vibes that used to inspire me have been replaced by glimpses of ancient towns. Dunes, bluffs, and cliffs have meshed together to become their own character. Features of rocks, canyons, and aerial views have been smoothed out to create something unique.
I invite you to find a sense of your own journey through these paintings — internal or external.
