Welcome To My Instagram Archive

Like many creative people, I have moved away from using my blog over the past several years because it became easier and more collaborative to share what I was working on and doing in my life over on Instagram.

One of the things I had been thinking about doing when I started using my Artist Journal again was bringing over some of the Instagram posts that I’ve created that held a special meaning to me or contributed to my growth and story of my life as an artist. I was so bummed to think that so much of my life and inspiration were tucked away in that app and that I had no way to easily access or search for older posts.

Then I remembered that I’ve been sharing almost all of my Instagram posts on Tumblr FOR YEARS!

What a gift!

I’m still going to bring over some key bits of my story to this space, but I feel so much happier knowing that I can share some of my history with you on Tumblr in the meantime.

I love that I can choose any month and year and be taken to those memories. When I started this Tumblr page it was really just another place where I could publish my Instagram feed to share with those who weren’t really using Instagram. I’d never guessed that it would be so useful for my own archival purposes. I’m so glad I did this!
