Welcome home.
To my home, specifically.
I don’t know if it’s the unpredictability of this year or just a very long, deeply felt desire to start showing up in this space that is bringing me here today, but whatever it is I’m glad to finally be back.
I think I’ve been avoiding my blog and my newsletter for a long time. And not because I’ve forgotten about it or not wanted to do it. Truthfully I think about spending more time writing and communicating with you at least several times a week. Then I get overwhelmed, thinking that it has to be a “thing.” You know, like I need to have a big blog post or newsletter with a bunch of images, links to new work, plans for new collections, and just SO MUCH STUFF that it stops me from showing up here at all.
While it seems like I’ve learned to not be precious during the act of painting and I can share stuff on Instagram like no one’s business, I’ve yet to conquer my feeling that my blog and newsletter need to be a production.
I’m done with that now.
I don’t have a plan for how I’m going to show up here. I just know that I’m committed to doing it. Not on a schedule. Not with certain stuff ALL the time. But I’m ready now. I’m ready to ease back into sharing in my own space, in my own way.
new print shop

One thing I’ve been working on this year is creating a new fine art print shop. While I still offer some prints on Minted, Society6, and Redbubble, and still work with art consultants and art publishers to produce some of my prints, I want to have a separate space where I’m releasing new work on a more regular basis.

Spice Bazaar and Flight Available in My Print Shop
My fine art print shop has different work for sale than I offer on Redbubble and Society 6. While I’ll offer some prints on those sites, the available inventory is going to be work that I’ve done specifically for use on a variety of different products and surfaces.
