On Sunday I sent out my first weekly art letter titled Field Notes: Spent more than 30 minutes making an emoji version of myself. True story.
See, I used to write a lot on this blog. I even blogged five days a week for a couple of years. Then I focused on art and turned primarily to Instagram as my preferred source of sharing my life and the things that inspire me and my creative work.
But now I want to share more. I have absolutely zero interest in writing blog posts five days a week, but I do want to communicate more often and on a deeper level with the people who most care about me, my work, and what I have to say.
That’s why The Creative Brief is going out once a week.
Now, rather than letting the things I’m inspired by hang out in draft blog posts for LITERALLY three to four years, I’ll be sharing that kind of stuff with friends who subscribe to my weekly newsletter every weekend – either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. You’ll just have to be surprised!
To get a fresh start, here are things that I’ve wanted to share with you over the past few years but never got around to it.
Minus the stuff I no longer care about, and a whole bunch of stuff about color psychology and my spirit animal Linda Rodin that I’ll share in their own blog posts or in my weekly newsletter over time.
