Happy Monday, friends! I have a new fine art print for you. Iceberg Blues was selected (along with Surf’s Up) as an Editor’s Pick in the Minted Drawing and Sketching Art Challenge this year.
The original abstract drawing was created with pastels on toned gray paper and was inspired by our family trip to Iceland last year. We visited the Blue Lagoon and ventured outside of Reykjavík, but missed the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón. This drawing blends together the colors and textures that I imagine I’ll see when I look across the jagged pool of iceberg blues.
