So far I don’t have plans to be in New York this year, but you never know. Cool things that we may not know about in advance come up all the time! Just in case, I’m putting this Mac Conner exhibition on my To Do If I’m In NYC list.
According to the exhibition description Conner, “…hand-painted illustrations for advertising campaigns and women’s magazines like Redbook and McCall’s, made during the years after World War II when commercial artists helped to redefine American style and culture.”
Mac Conner: A New York Life runs September 10, 2014 through January 19, 2014 at the Museum of the City of New York.
