Between Mood Board Monday and my latest column Art + Object, you can probably guess that one of my favorite things to do is putting together complementary images to craft visual stories (aka, art direction.) So let’s just get right to it!
I first saw Sergei Sviatchenko‘s artwork on the super talented celebrity designer Kelly Wearstler‘s Tumblr, so I thought it would be cool to pair the blue of Sergei’s mixed media piece with Kelly’s Zephyr rug. I love the pale, cool tones of this pairing.
