A couple of weeks ago I attended the Seattle Bloggers Unite Spring Social at Aran Goyoaga‘s beautiful Belltown studio. Here are some of the photos that I took and a list of the amazing makers involved with this event.
The main event was a conversation focused on food blogging, building your blog, and promoting your work on social media. Seattle food superstars Aran Goyoaga (food stylist, photographer, cookbook author, and blogger at Cannelle Et Vanille), Alice Currah (PBS Parents contributor, cookbook author, and blogger at Savory Sweet Life) and Brandi Henderson (pastry chef and founder of The Pantry At Delancey) shared their stories and participated in a lovely Q & A expertly moderated by co-host Lisette Wolter-McKinley.
We had lots of tasty treats, but my favorite thing was Lisette’s Blueberry Lavender Lemonade. She’s keeping her recipe under wraps, but I’ll be trying the Serious Eats version soon!
All attendees received a copy of The Kinfolk Table: Recipes for Small Gatherings. That almost…ALMOST made up for me not being one of the two winners who took home jewelry from Portland’s Betsy & Iya. But not quite.
I’m in love with Aran’s studio. I want to go back and see it in the daylight! It’s so beautiful.
