Andrew Zonzini is an illustrator and graphic designer who has inspired me lately. I love how he pairs brightly colored backgrounds with black and white design elements. Check out his amazing work at @perrycolante on Instagram.
I’ve been spending the last few days cleaning up old posts since some of the images didn’t make it over from the move from Squarespace. Man, I used to post a lot more here! I’m kind of hating that fact since that means there’s more to clean up. Ha! I’ve also been thinking about this space and how I want to use it going forward. I have my first art show coming up a month from now, so I’m going to be sharing some work and stories about that process here. I’m also doing more graphic design work that I’ll be sharing and have several upcoming and recent Seattle events that I’ll cover here. But I also want to be able to pop over to this place and share random things that inspire me during my days. Sure, I pin and instagram like a madwoman, but sometimes I want to keep these treasures together in one space – pieces about my life and work coupled with small bits of inspiration thrown in here and there.
What do you guys think? Would having a post from me with one or two images and not much else be annoying or fun? Many of the places I visit for inspiration are just that simple. I think I’ll try it out soon. xo
