Along with the wonderful letter that I told you guys about on Monday, another great mail item that was waiting for me when I got home from Palm Springs was the first edition of Equals in print: Exploration.
Here’s the description.
“Haunted neighborhoods in Hong Kong. An education that’s far from traditional. An autumn in a hunting cabin with a slew of unlikely visitors. In this collection of essays, art, and photography, more than 30 creative women document their journeys.”
I am so thrilled to be one of the 30 creative women that are featured in this awesome book! The essay I wrote for Exploration is called Bumping Into Ghosts.
I’m headed to St. Louis today and Equals: Exploration is tucked into my carry-on. I’m ready to settle into my seat and read the stories of creative women that I know and love, as well as those I have yet to meet. I’m so grateful that my creative journey brought me to where I am right now.
UPDATE: The inaugural issue of the magazine is no longer available. Read my essay, Bumping Into Ghosts, here.
