I don’t know how you guys feel, but this summer has absolutely flown by for me. I can’t believe it’s almost September! Like I mentioned last week, I’ve spent a lot of time on a crash course in creativity. It’s been awesome. While I was out picking up art supplies yesterday, I added another book to the course – How to Be Interesting (In 10 Simple Steps) by Jessica Hagy. The way it’s set up reminds me of Austin Kleon’s Steal Like an Artist. Both of these are great go-to guides when you’re feeling creatively blah.
Forge Your Own Path
One of the things that Jessica writes and draws about is finding your own way. This is a huge part of the work I do with my creative coaching, branding, and marketing strategy clients. What sets you apart? How is your approach and vision different from that blogger, artist, writer, designer, photographer, creative company over there?
You can check out Jessica’s blog, Indexed, for more awesomeness.
If you feel stuck, reserve your spot for one of my creative coaching sessions in October. We’ll explore your options and you’ll walk away with a practical to-do list and newfound energy for your work. Right now I have five spots available.
I hope you guys have a great weekend! See you back here next week. xoxo
