Project Thirty-Three is managed by Jive Time Records, a used vinyl store in Seattle’s artsy (and boutiquey) self-proclaimed Center of the Universe, Fremont. It celebrates and catalogues some of the best vintage album covers that use simple colorful graphics and typography as key design elements.

I’m drawn to simple graphics and text in design, and this is such a great site for inspiration. Next time I’m out and about I’m going to stop by and flip through actual album covers. These remind me of work by Saul Bass, who I love.
What about you? Are you more of a clean line type or do you appreciate an intricate flourish?
