My darling husband, son, and I are having an adventure in Austin right now! Wooho! We’re visiting Courtney and Ken, and I’m sure we’re having a blast. (See…you’re in the future. I’m writing this from Wednesday.) I’ll fill you in on our trip next week! In the meantime, follow along on Instagram.
Speaking of my husband, I just have to tell you about the thoughtful birthday gifts I received from him, one in particular.
Remember when I wrote about A Hip Handmade Holiday? My husband downloaded the book and made this cool necklace for me. How awesome is that? He also made me The Best Chocolate Sheet Cake Ever from The Pioneer Woman. And yeah, it really is the best chocolate sheet cake ever. Other birthday treats were these two cool artsy books.

I know. The man has excellent taste, right? I didn’t even have these books on a wish list or anything!
And I have to mention this lovely Jonathan Adler pink jar of fun from my friends David and Alan.
