Nathaniel had a good day today! He spent a lot of time playing with his friends C, I, and T. They sit in the pillow pit and make each other laugh. :)
Nathaniel put on a giraffe costume today and wore it around for a while! He gets the biggest smile when he dresses up.

Nathaniel had a good day! Yesterday we had a pumpkin in class that we explored the inside and outside of, and today Nathaniel really wanted to wear our pumpkin costume! He has loved dressing up and pretend play recently and he had so much fun in the pumpkin costume!
He also spent a lot of time with C. They explored the loft and had fun with loofah sponges that we throw into baskets. They both speak to each other and seem to understand each other!

Nathaniel had a fantastic day! He was very gentle with his friends and was very helpful cleaning up toys and bringing in chairs. :) This afternoon Nathaniel loved painting with foam paint – he had it everywhere. So much fun!

Nathaniel had another fantastic day. :) This morning he loved reading books with his friends and teachers, especially Chicka Chicka ABC. Then he and C really worked as a team to build a tall tower with blocks – yay! Teamwork!
Later, Nathaniel painted leaves in a small group activity. They look so much like fall!

Nathaniel had a great day today! He spent a lot of time playing with the “Wild Things” puppets. On a break I brought in a new one and he was so excited about it! He even slept with him! in the afternoon Teacher S read Where the Wild Things Are to everyone, and Nathaniel gathered all the puppets around himself! :) He was so excited!

Nathaniel had a good day! He was thrilled when we opened the pumpkin! We made guesses on what was inside and he thought it would be black! We opened it and Nathaniel got to take off the top. :) He just looked at it for a while, then touched it! When his friend I walked in a little later, he brought him over a fistful of pumpkin.

Nathaniel had a good day! He spent a lot of time being silly with his friend M. He loves to make her laugh and she loves to laugh! Nathaniel loved our art project today. We made pumpkins with contact paper and pumpkin seeds and Nathaniel was so excited when he saw we could put it on the window! He ran over to hang his proudly!

We are planning for our zoo trip tomorrow! We read a book about the zoo, colored lions, and played the animal game! We went in a circle and each talked about what kind of animals we were excited to see, and Nathaniel is excited to see a llama!
Note from Mommy: He might have been telling them what he was dressing up as for Halloween – “llama llama do-doo-do-do-doo.”

Drew and I visited the zoo with Nathaniel and his day care class. We were two of the chaperones and it was really fun. It was raining, but that just meant more puddles for the kids to jump in. They had such a great time, and so did we!
It was fun seeing Nathaniel experience all of the animals for the first time. We visited the zoo when he was around one, but he slept most of the time. :)
Nathaniel and his friends loved playing in the indoor playground that we stopped by when we took a break from visiting the animals. He had fun with one of his chaperones too.
