I feel really lucky and grateful for a lot of things – my family and friends, my health, the opportunity to make a go of what I want to do professionally, and so much more.
Next month I’ll be going to Palm Springs to spend time with some amazing and inspirational people. I’ll get to catch up with a lot of my friends and make some new ones. We’ll work on our life lists, make real connections, support each other, and have an awesome time.
But before we have fun, we have work to do. Serious SERIOUS work. Every year Camp Mighty has a project to raise money for people who really need it. This year we’re giving to charity: water and I need your help.
Will you donate to my team’s charity: water project? Anything you can give will help us meet our fundraising goal to bring clean and safe water to people in the Rulindo District of Rwanda.
Donate directly to the Camp Mighty charity: water project and type “Melanie Biehle, Team 4” in the comment box. 100% of your donation will go directly to funding water projects in this area.
“Most of us have never really been thirsty. We’ve never had to leave our houses and walk five miles to fetch water. We simply turn on the tap, and water comes out. Clean. Yet there are 800 million people on the planet who don’t have clean water.” – charity: water
800 million people. That’s so many, and I know it can feel overwhelming. But we have to start somewhere. We can make a difference!
Thank you so much for your help and support. xo
