Notes from Day Care: Class Clown

Nathaniel had a good day today! This morning he had a great time pretending to stomp around in the “mud” (crumpled brown paper) like the animals in the book Mrs. Wishy-Washy. :) We also spent a lot of time on bikeside and in the motor room. Nathaniel still loves to sit on the big bikes with his helmet on, even though he can’t quite reach the pedals.

Nathaniel had a good day today! This morning he really enjoyed playing in the kitchen. We put “oatmeal” on the stove and “made some toast.” Nathaniel’s favorite part was putting the pots and pans on his head. :) He loves to joke around. After outside time we came in to paint. Nathaniel practiced his colors by saying a name and getting whatever color he said. He really seemed to enjoy switching between red and yellow.

Nathaniel had a good day today! This morning he went over to C while she was still eating and made funny faces at her to make her laugh! He even left behind a plastic person for her to play with. It was very cute. :) Other than that, the day consisted of a lot of outside time, painting, and silly faces!

Nathaniel had a good day today! He is such a jokester! He loves being silly and making faces. It’s so fun to watch his creativity and general enjoyment of life. We realized last week that Nathaniel calls Kathy “Debbie.” Today we tried to get him to say it by having him repeat “K-K-Kathy.” He repeated “K-K-Debbie.” It was adorable!

Nathaniel had a good day today! He really enjoyed playing with cars and trucks in the classroom. He also got very excited about baby yoga! He likes to get into the cobra position. :) Again, we spent a long time outside today in the sun. Nathaniel brought back a rock that looked like a tooth today. For a second I thought it was his own tooth!
