You’re My Obsession: Where Creative People Live and Work

Where We Create on Raincoast Cottage

Do you guys read Raincoast Cottage? You should. My friend Sandra, who I get to hang out with in Seattle next month at Girl Crush (!!!), writes about living a creative life and finding inspiration, and it’s awesome.

Recently Sandra invited me to participate in her cool series Where We Create, where she asks different bloggers about the space where they do their creative work. You guys know how much I love to see where creative people live and work, so I jumped at the chance to share my own space. Check out Raincoast Cottage for the interview!

Living With Kids on Design Mom

I love Design Mom. Besides her blog, Gabrielle is a co-founder of two other awesome things – Altitude Design Summit AND Kirtsy. I KNOW, RIGHT?!?!

For obvious reasons, I love Gabrielle’s Living With Kids series. Seeing where creative moms live and reading the thoughtful interviews that accompany the beautiful photos is so inspiring. Recently, Gabrielle featured my pal Melissa de la Fuente from Melissa Loves. I love her creative and warm home! I think I might move in.

Real Life Home on Stephmodo

Real Life Home on Stephmodo showcases “living spaces decorated by people who are not formally-trained interior designers; people who mix new finds with antiques and secondhand pieces from Craigslist (or the like). People who have figured out, on their own, what looks and feels good in their living space, be it a free-standing home, an apartment, or in one particular case, a tower.”

Yes, Stephanie typed that right. A tower. Smith Tower in Seattle, to be exact. You have to see it.

Jeff, Who Lives At Home

I’m not sure how creative Jeff is, but we can see where he lives. :) I heart Jay and Mark Duplass. They’re definitely creative. Their latest movie Jeff, Who Lives at Home stars another one of my faves, Jason Segal. It looks awesome.
