Lately I’ve been bouncing around from website to website admiring all of the pretty party and packaging supplies that are available these days. I love the vintage-looking stripey straws, lovely glassine bags, and colorful bakers twine. I never throw parties and I don’t do a lot of crafty projects, but I may reconsider just to have reasons to buy these cool supplies. I’m not ready to jump into the party planning arena or wield a glue gun just yet, but putting together a crafty gift sounded like fun!
I used a lot of hot pink when I put together my package, but made it a little edgier by including black and white chevron bags and bakers twine, along with some neutral kraft paper accessories.
Time to start putting everything together. I thought the sturdy brown kraft box would be good for holding the smaller tags, twine, and washi tape so they won’t get buried in the larger box. Lucky me! One of the shops I ordered from packaged their supplies in shreds of pink paper that I’m going to use in my gift as well.
The small box looks really nice tied with twine and paired with the stickers, glassine bags, kraft notepad, and fun pink straws. For the finishing touch, I wrapped the box in hot pink paper and tucked a gift note inside a glassine bag sealed with a design created from circle stickers.
Done! Now you have the perfect gift for your creative friend who has everything, but constantly runs out of craft supplies. Or for yourself. Not that I kept mine, or anything. Shh…
