It’s been a very busy week here. I’m working on some opportunities that I’m super excited about, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you in the upcoming weeks. But don’t worry, I always have time for obsessions.

The Jealous Curator’s Girl Crush Art Workshop + Tea Party

Do you guys remember when I was obsessed with The Jealous Curator last year? I was bummed that I didn’t get to meet her at Alt. Anyway, I have been super obsessed with her Girl Crush workshop series, and I had a lot of fun tweeting and chatting with Danielle about it last week. She has an awesome lineup of artists so far.

I’ve been begging talking with Danielle about making a stop in Seattle this year, and it seems like it’s probably going to happen. It sounds like such an amazing and inspirational day, and I would love to be part of it.

One of my favorite things about Alt Summit is the people that it brings into your life. I found Kimberly on Facebook and Twitter right before we left for Alt, and lucky me, she lives right here in Washington. Note to Kimberly: We must get together soon!

Kimberly is such an amazing photographer that she might even be able to convince a city dweller like me that living on a farm could be fun. I mean, realistically, probably not, but I’m just saying that she’s that good, you guys.

Arian Behzadi’s Mixed Media Collages

Trendland strikes again. While I was looking for a link to the video above, I discovered Arian Behzadi’s amazing mixed media collages, and now I am absolutely in love with his work.

And get this…Arian is a biological sciences major, research assistant at a cancer laboratory, and an intern at a surgery center who does his design work “in between classes.”
