A Clean Refrigerator, At Last
My fridge still isn’t as pretty as Chelsea’s, but at least it’s clean now. I spent Christmas Eve afternoon scrubbing it down and tossing things out. I know, festive, right? Now I want to keep it this way, and add some style.
Drew gave me a gift certificate to Seattle’s very own Velocity Art and Design, and I’ve been instructed to use it to get whatever pretty things I want to put in our kitchen. I already bought myself a great little creamer before Christmas, but I’ve got plenty of other ideas.

My New Water Bottle
Resolving to drink more water in the new year? I’ll bet an aesthetically pleasing, well-designed water bottle will do the trick. I love this glass Takeya water bottle. Perfect to stash in my bag and sip during my commute.
Sagaform
I’ve been on the hunt for a cool new vessel to store our Stumptown beans in, and I finally found it. May I present the Sagaform Keep Storage Stoneware & Oak Large Round Jar from Pigment in San Diego.

Keep Our Secrets
Check out this new McMullens book (AKA, the McSweeney’s offshoot for kids) that I read about on The Observer’s Very Short List and I want for myself Nathaniel. Keep Our Secrets was written and illustrated by Jordan Crane. Each page features secrets in cool disappearing ink that magically show up when exposed to a heat source, like warm hands or a hair dryer. Awesomesauce.
