I am loving this whole photobooth thing that people are doing at events these days. You wouldn’t believe how awesome some of them are, so I’m just going to have to show you.
This is my very favorite photo of two of my bestest friends ever. You know them as Courtney and Ken. I had to order a copy tout de suite. Kudos to Whitney Lee Photography in Austin, TX.
Here are a few awesome photos from The Wright Photobooth Co. at the recent Hot One Inch Action button art show (featuring my friend, Phil) here in Seattle. Let’s start with a couple of shots of my friends Phil and Suzanne.
I don’t know these people, but I probably should.
You can keep up with the goings on of photographer Patrick Lennox Wright here and here.

Studio Amber
This week on Design for Mankind I saw something so incredibly cool that I almost couldn’t wait until today to share it with you.
I give you…a pop-up studio where, among other things, a fun family could could walk away with a decidedly non-dorky family photo…Studio Amber.
The downside? You have to travel all the way to the Netherlands to be styled and coiffed for your super hip photo shoot. Actually, you’d have to time travel back a few months too, but it would be so worth it. You can see many more Studio Amber photos on Facebook.
Want to bring your favorite stuff from your childhood into to your kid’s life? Then here’s another blog to add to your Feedly.
Modern Kiddo is run by Alix and Dottie, two “vintage and design lovin’ mamas who think you’re never too young to enjoy great style.” They’re also Devil-Ettes.
Even better. These cool ladies are speaking at Alt Summit, so I get to meet them in person in January!
I am in super mad love with the amazing self-portraiture photography of Elle Moss (aka, Lisa Sieczka). So much, in fact, that I had to pick up two prints, a 2012 mini calendar, and a pair of hair clips as my November art purchase.
