Remember Pine State Biscuits in Portland?
Well, here in Seattle, we’ve got Nook. And it is delicious, people.
Drew tried the classic breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheddar, tomato jam) covered in sausage gravy.
I went for a biscuit with vegetarian mushroom gravy and Tillamook cheddar.
We couldn’t leave without trying one of their sweet treats, so we split a Nutella and banana biscuit. I suggest you don’t either. Yum/ah-mah-zing.
Is Nook worth a special trip to The Ave?
Yep.
Go early before the hungover college kids wake up. If you’re there on a Saturday morning, you can walk across the street to the University District Farmers Market. Fun!
