The Glow
Have you guys seen The Glow? No, not the JLo perfume, the website that features gorgeous photos of cool and inspiring moms, their children, and their living spaces. Thanks for the tip, Anthology Magazine.

I loved their latest chat (and shoot) with painter and Tiny Furniture actress Jemima Kirke. She had similar reservations and discoveries about motherhood that I did.

“When I found out I was having a baby, I wondered whether there were any successful female painters with children. When I actually asked the question I realized there were a lot. I was worried about how I was going to do it. When I was younger, painting was something that was quite impulsive or even compulsive for me. When you’re a mother, there’s no room to be impulsive or compulsive, or it’s better if you’re not. I asked myself, ‘What am I going to lose by having a child?’ And so far the answer is nothing.”

All of The Glow’s amazing photography is by Kelly Stuart. Love it.

An Afternoon With…
Keeping the theme going, I am LOVING the site I discovered through Where the Lovely Things Are via Honey Kennedy.  Michael Mundy‘s An Afternoon With… is an awesome blog that gives us a peek into the living spaces of all sorts of interesting creative people.

Seriously, I could look at stuff like this all day long. Is that a job? If so, please hire me today.

Suburgatory
The leaves are changing, there’s a chill in the air, and there are about a million more options in Hulu. TV is back you guys, and I don’t know how I’m supposed to watch everything now that I’m completely addicted to Pinterest and obsessed with being obsessed.

Somehow I will make time for the sure to be comic gem that is ABC’s Suburgatory. Take a look.

It has a great time slot, right before hilarious multiple Emmy Award winning Modern Family, so it has pretty good odds of success. What do you think?

Wedding at the Warhol Museum
Okay seriously, this is one of the coolest things ever. By the way, that whole Bloggess/Portlandia thing is pretty cool too, and freaking hilarious, in case you missed it.

Sam and Sarah got married at The Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. On Andy Warhol’s birthday. How cool is that? By the way, it’s August 6th, the same day as my son’s birthday, as well as Lucille Ball‘s. I’m glad Nathaniel got such fun birthday buddies.

Lucky for us, Sam and Sarah’s wedding was photographed by Hot Metal Studio and they were kind enough to share some of the photos on their blog.

Sam and Sarah, you guys rule.

I’ve never been to The Warhol Museum, but I’ve wanted to go before it ever existed. Now all I need is to come up with another reason to go to Pittsburgh.

Bill Cunningham New York
Speaking of cool, I’ve been wanting to see this movie and it’s finally available to rent. Must…watch…soon.
