Last Friday, I asked you guys to complete a survey and a few of you did. A VERY few of you. I felt like I was a stand-up comedian and crickets chirped after my joke.
But enough about your hatred of surveys.
Most of the readers who did take the survey said that they love the _________ in Seattle posts. One reader (aka my beloved husband) said that he likes them, but doesn’t need to see them every week. I didn’t vote, but if I had I would have sided with my husband. Not because he’s my husband, but because I like variety and love the idea of waking up on Friday morning and not knowing what you’re going to get (or write, in my case).
And that’s how Freaky Friday was born. Inspired by the original 1976 Freaky Friday, of course, not the 2003 remake. Although I did see the remake because I’m a COMPLETE sucker for all things alternate reality/switching lives/do-overs/etc.
Since readers do enjoy the _______ in Seattle posts and I like writing them, sometimes you’re going to wake up on Freaky Friday and get those. How fun is that going to be? It’s like putting money into an Art-o-mat and not knowing what kind of awesome prize will zoom down the chute.
