Wow. I’m so glad that I saw this exhibit. Even if I hadn’t had the chance to do other fun things, this alone would have been worth the trip.
I have tons of photos (221 to be exact). I’ll post them all here…
Kidding. If you want to feel like you went to the exhibit, take a look at my entire set on Flickr. If you just want to hear about/see my favorites, stay tuned. Hmm…what’s the interwebs translation for “stay tuned?” “Don’t click?” “Stop?” “Don’t go anywhere?” “I love you, please don’t leave me?”
Melanie! Shh!
My very favorite pieces were by Os Gemeos, aka Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, identical twin brothers from São Paulo, Brazil. I love the colors and faces in their work. Their interactive installation was amazing.
More loves…
A cool piece by Belgian street artist Roa that changed when you moved the panels
Keith Haring car
Colorful posters by Craig R. Stecyk III
There aren’t too many female street artists, but I really liked Swoon’s The Ice Princess and the work by Margaret Kilgallen.
Loved the Banksy installation. He worked on the “stain glass window” with some students in the L.A. area.
Kenny Scharf’s pink dancing girl
What an awesome day this was. :)
